Director General, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Mohammed Bashar Yakubu Harka has felicitated with the Christian faithful on the occassion of this year’s Christmas celebrations.

Bashar Harka, in a statement issued by the Information Desk Officer of the SDGs, Abubakar Adamu Kuta, urged the Christians and other faithfuls to remain steadfast in prayers, which he believed have a tremendous impact on the peace, security, and progress of not only Niger State but the nation as a whole.

He said this period offers the believer an opportunity for sober reflection on their individual relationship with God, adding that it was important for Nigerlites to inject the healing and unifying serum of love for their neighbours into the state’s consciousness this season.

The statement said the Director General also felicitated with the government and indeed the entire citizens of the state on this important spiritual engagement.

“Even as we celebrate with friends and family, we should also spend time to pray for a more peaceful and prosperous Niger State.

“As a State under the leadership of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, we can achieve more if we stay united, extend hands of fellowship to one another and be law-abiding.

“We must also rededicate ourselves to the virtues of faith in God, love for one another and make these virtues more evident and practical in our daily living”, DG added.

Baehar Harka wished all Christians as well as other citizens a Merry Christmas celebration.
