Spokesperson of the Delta state police command, DSP Bright Edafe has alleged that in some parents usually collect money from the suspects of such act jist so as the case will die in the stations.
According to him, cases of defilement, the parents of some of the victims collect money from the suspects and get an affidavit from court stating reasons they don’t want the matter charged to court.
Edafe in a tweet shared on his handle this morning, asked if this is the right approach to issues such as defilement.
