A Chinese national who stabs his lover to death in Kano has revealed why he ended her life in such a gruesome manner.
Mr Geng a 47 year old man had on friday night stormed Ummu Kulthum’s house his 23 year old ex lover in Janbulok a community in Gwale local government area of Kano state where he ended her life.
Mr Geng revealed that the deceased had extorted him money worth millions of naira under the guise of getting married to him, however, she dumped him and went for her Nigerian young northern lover whom she got married to.
Unfortunately the marriage only lasted a year when she got divorced, that was when mr Geng decisded to end her life.
Confirming the inccident, the Kano state police command has confirmed the crime, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa confirmed that Mr Geng commited the crime on Friday evening where he went to the deceased house and murdered her.
Geng reafirmed that Ummu had betrayed him after pretending she was going to marry him amd made him spent alot on her she then opted for her younger Nigerian lover.
He further said he was furious on the betrayal and so he wanted to kill all of them in the house
Meanwhile, ROTV24 gathered in an interview granted by the mother of the deceased, where she narrated that Geng was her daughters ex lover who became so obsessed with her ad keeps visiting the house even after her divorce.
The mother said they all tried to stop him from coming to the house but he will always come and refused to go, but on that faithful day he came and repeatedly banged on their door.
She then opened the door to confront him when he pushed her aside and gained access to the apartment and stabbed her daughter, when asked if there were no men in the house ro assist she said, her eldest son was out and so only her and the girls were around and it wwas raining so all her shouts calling for assistance could not be heard until much later tldue to the impact of the rain.
The daughter was confimed death on arrival at the hospital. She has since been buriwd on saturday morning according to islamic rites.
Meanwhile the Commissioner of police Abubakar Lawan has ordered that the DPO, Dorayi should take over the matter for a proper investigation and prosecution of the culprit.
