Breaking: Gunmen attack Seneator Ifeanyi Uba’s convoy in Anambra leading to the death of some of hia aides
Kanem Chuks Ogbonna, the Special Adviser on Media and Strategic Communications to Senator Ifeanyi Ubah said three Policemen and three aides of the Federal lawmaker were killed by the gunmen.
Several others with various gunshot injuries have been rushed to medical facilities in the area..
It was learnt that the ‘principal’ in the convoy who may have been the target escaped on a bullet-proof SUV. Meanwhile, the whereabouts of Senator Ifeanyi Uba is yet to be ascertained as the environment is charged with atmosphere of confusion and perplexity.
