Zamfara state restores poverty alleviation schemes, to pay N10, 000 to 50,000 beneficiaries


The government of Zamfara State has reinvigorate its porverty alleviation programme in other to bring succur to its pople.

 

 

 

In a press release signed by the commissioner of information Zamfara state Alhaji Ibrahim Magaji Dosara, the government is set to distribute N10,000 to at least 50,000 beneficiaries.

 

 

The statement reads:

 

 

 

ZAMFARA GOVERNMENT REINVIGORATES ITS POVERTY ALLEVIATION SCHEME, INTRODUCES DISTRIBUTION OF N10,000 to each of 50,000 BENEFICIARIES MONTHLY ACROSS THE STATE.

 

 

The Zamfara state government has reinvigorated its poverty alleviation programme by releasing additional funds for distribution to the less privileged and the vulnerable, monthly across the 14 local government areas of the state.

 

This is in addition to the other relief measures of the government such as N20,000 being distributed monthly to 1, 800 women across the state, the N-Cares packages and ZASIP programmes of the state government, as well as the school feeding programme of the federal government.

 

The government embarked on the relief support programmes to reduce the effect of the economic hardship being faced in the country, coupled with the security challenges bedevelling the state.

 

The 500, 000,000 Naira is to be shared among 50, 000 beneficiaries monthly to assist them to cope with the challenges of the time, with a view to bursting the state economy.
