Niger State Pilgrims observed special prayers for State, Nigeria in Makka

 

The Niger State Pilgrims Welfare Board has organised a SPECIAL PRAYER session for the State and Nigeria as a whole in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

The prayer session took place today 23rd July 2022 at the Masjid Al-haram which is the Holy Mosque in Makka at around 9 am on Sunday.

 

According to a radio interview with correspondence in Minna, the state executive Secretary of the pilgrim’s welfare Board Alh. Umar, Lapai MAKUN said the prayer is to tackle hunger, kidnapping and other vices bedevilling the country.

 

Lapai further stated that prayers remain the only option that can bring an end to the current situation in Nigeria.

 

 

MAKUN had earlier notified the entire Nigerian pilgrims to join Niger State Pilgrims for the prayer session this morning.

 

SPECIAL PRAYERS MINNA.

Pilgrims from Niger state in Saudi Arabia will tomorrow observe a special prayer for the state and Nigeria for an end to the problems of banditry kidnapping hunger and other related vices that bedevilled the country.

Executive Secretary Niger state Pilgrims Welfare Board Alh Umar Makun Lapai stated this in a telephone interview with Radio Nigeria in Minna.

All Umar Makun Lapai said they have requested all the pilgrims from Niger state to join them in offering such prayers at the Masjidul Haram in Mecca Saudi Arabia tomorrow by nine o’clock in the morning after circumambulation tawaf.

According to him, prayers remain the only viable option in bringing an end to the current security challenges which had continued unabated and called for all hands to be on deck to ensure its success.

All Umar Makun Lapai further said all the pilgrims from Niger state are hale and healthy and are expected to move to Madina from Mecca for some visitation any moment from now.

On the problem of abscondment by some pilgrims during the annual hajj the Executive Secretary Niger state Pilgrims Welfare Board added that their pilgrims are well cultured and that will not embark on that shameful act.
