Nigeria’s government has taken majors to re-absorb returnee Nigerian students from Ukraine to Nigerian schools following the conflict in that country with Russia.
A statement by the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Francisca Omayuli, stated that the Federal Government is committed to facilitating the placement of the students into various Nigerian tertiary institutions to enable them to continue their studies.
Interested students are advised to visit the Ministry of Foreign affairs website “https//www.foreignaffairs.gov.ng” to complete the online Nigerian Student in Ukraine (NSU) registration form with the required information on or before 15th July 2022.
Many Nigerian students trapped in the conflict zone were evacuated through the efforts of the Federal government and have been reunited with their families without any hope of continuing their studies. This new window will rekindle hope for the returnee students and their parents.
