Nigerian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia commends the effort of NAHCON says 2022 Hajj is a trial

 

 

The Nigerian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ambassador Yahaya Lawal has said that this years Hajj is an expiremental Hajj after the covid-19 Pandamic.

 

 

The Ambassador said this during a visit to the NAHCON Office in Madina where he was briefed on the operation of the 2022 mission of hajj so far.

 

According to Ambassador Yahaya, NAHCON has put up its best and needs to be commended.

 

 

Fielding questions from journalists the ambassador reassured Nigerians of total airlift of intending pilgrims, he however said that anyone who could not come before the deadline should consider it the will of Allah and that it wasn’t yet his/her time to answer the call of Allah.

 

 

On how he intend to midiate between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia with some of its policies which seems to be harsh on Nigeria, Ambassador Yahaya said the polices are not just on Nigerians and that Nigeria shouldn’t isolate itself as the policies is world wide.

 

Sighting example with the 2019 Hajj operation which was the last before now, the ambassador said about two million five hundred thousand people participated in the Hajj, while this year it  is just one million, he further said that when this years Hajj works out successfully, the numbers will iincrease next year.
