Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has decamped from the People Democratic Party PDP .and Joins APC’s 2023 presidential race
After months of denials, Jonathan have finally picked up a nomination form and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) 2023 presidential race.
According to a tweet by presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, Jonathan is seeking to return to office in next year’s election after switching political party. He has now joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) that defeated him in 2015 after five years in power.
It is also revealed that a Fulani supporters’ group is reportedly responsible for the purchase of the nomination form on his behalf on Monday, continuing the trend of aspirants using proxies to purchase the form.
This has now bring the APC presidential aspirants to 26.
