About 1,076 Nigerians who jahave been affected by the crisis in Ukraine have reportedly been evacuated safely back to Nigeria.
T is was shared via a post by the media aide to president Biheri Ahmed Bashir on twitter this evening where he disclosed that, the 1,076 returnees were evacuated from different bothers.
He wrote;
UPDATE: So far, a total number of 1,076 Nigerians affected by the crisis in Ukraine, have been evacuated back home.
1 – 415 evacuated from Romania.
2 – 181 evacuated from Poland.
3 – 480 evacuated from Hungary.
Additional 122 from Poland are expected to arrive in Abuja tomorrow.
Nigerians have been evacuating its citizens who have shown interest to return to the country after Russia has launched an attack in Ukraine.
