Gbajabiamila, Wase Felicitates with president Buhari @79

The Speaker of the House of Representatives Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila has rejoiced with President Muhammadu Buhari on his 79th birthday.

Gbajabiamila in a message said the Nigerian leader has done great things for Nigeria since he came to power in 2015, noting that such a man should be celebrated by all well-meaning Nigerians on his birthday.

The Speaker lauded President Buhari for putting Nigeria first before any other consideration.

He said at 79, President Buhari has achieved a lot both as an individual and as a leader with uncommon character and integrity.

Gbajabiamila said he believed the president would do a lot more for the country in the remaining period of his administration.

He noted with delight how the president keeps faith with the manifesto of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“Mr President, Nigeria and Nigerians are proud of you. The way you have been steering the ship of the Nigerian state has been commendable.

I, therefore, join millions of our compatriots to wish you a happy birthday and more years in good health,” the speaker said.

Similarly, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase has also felicitated with President Muhammadu Buhari on the wonderful occasion of his 79th birthday.

Wase in a congratulatory message signed by his chief press secretary, Umar Muhammad Puma said President Buhari deserved to be judged fairly based on his track record in the last six years.

The Deputy Speaker described Buhari as “a patriotic, compassionate and leader whose love for the nation and  achievements will stand him out on the annals of Nigeria’s history”

He said “Although, President Buhari came into power at a very difficult time in the life of our nation, he has remained focused, adept and totally committed to ensuring that Nigeria regains its rightful place in the comity of nations.

Your Excellency,  I celebrate you as you attain the age of 79 and I pray Allah to grant you many more healthy and productive years as well as the wisdom to steer the ship of leadership in the remaining months of your tenure”

Wase also calls for prayers for the president, according to him “President Buhari deserves the prayers of every Nigerian because the burden of presiding over the most populous black nation in the world is onerous”

He assured that he and his colleagues in the National Assembly would continue to cooperate with the President to overcome the current security and economic  challenges bedevilling the nation.

“I am confident that with President Buhari on the driving seat, Nigeria will definetely be better and Nigerians will reap the benefits of their trust and confidence in the All Progressives Congress (APC)- led administration”
