The Kubwa market popular known as the Village market in Bwari Area Council, Abuja, has been gutted by fire killing an unknown number of persons.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the inferno started on Friday evening as a section of the ultra-modern market went up in flames.
Although the actual cause of the fire which started minutes before 8 pm could not be immediately ascertained, however, traders said it was a result of an explosion from adulterated kerosene.
As of 8:45 pm, firefighters were still struggling to contain the inferno.
