Boko Haram has launched and attack on soldiers of the Special Forces Camp in Melete, Borno State.
Arise News report on their Facebook page that about 18 soldiers have been killed while 62 have been confirmed to have escaped with serious wounds
However, 30 of the army personnel are still missing.
News247 also confirmed that only the soldiers that ran away from the battle survived the onslaught.
