‘I am back with a smile’ senator Ishaku Abbo says after a succesful hip surgery

Senator Ishaku Abbo, senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District has shown his appreciations to friends and well-wishers for all their prayers for him.

The senator who went for hip surgery to remove an implant after an accident he had in 2017 said he is now back with a smile because his surgery went successful after he had been carrying a metal implanted in him for 5 years.

“After spending 5 days in hithiatusom the hip surgery extracting metal implant that I carried for nearly 5 years, I am back with a smile of appreciation. Happy to be alive.

I thank all of you for your calls, messages, flowers and prayers. Some of you visited but could not see me due to medical advice. I do not take your visits for granted. Thank you!!!

To the doctors and staff of portland Hospital Yola, I owe you a debt of gratitude.

To my Doctors classmate, Juniors and seniors in Government senior science school Uba who crowded the hospital in love and solidarity, I weep for joy waking up seeing you all over me. Wow!! What a feeling!!

To the Orthopaedic Professor that joined the team of surgeons, Thanks to you.

To my supporters that kept vigil in the hospital thank you.

To my family, Thank you for holding your hands in prayers.

To that special cleaner that always keeps my room clean, Thank you Ma. You made me feel at home.

To those wonderful policemen that sacrificed their sleep to secure the area, May God bless you and your families. Thank you.

Government should invest in healthcare so that we don’t have to travel abroad for treatments. Adamawa is for all of us. Let’s build it for our children.
