The Honourable Minister of Communication and digital economy sheikh Isa Ali Phantami has paid a condolence visit to the popular cleric Sheik Dahiru Bauchi over the killings of some of his members in Jos Plateau state.
The visit which is in Abuja was said to be a representation of President Buhari to the cleric.
Recalled that on Saturday morning news broke about travellers who were waylaid along Gada Biyu Rukuba road of the plateau state capital.
A post on the ministers page reads:
“His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari has been represented by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, PhD to convey the heartfelt condolences of his administration over the unfortunate incident. He has also been directed to confirm to him that Government will ensure justice is done”.
“The Minister conveyed the message and also pleaded and appreciated Shaykh Dahiru Bauchi for his effort and Directives to his followers not to take laws into their hands. The President plans to meet Shaykh Dahiru after his isolation this week”.
Finally, Pantami prays to Allah to forgive the deceased and bring permanent peace to Nigeria and the world.
