FRSC unveils plans to embark on operation show your driving licence in Plateau state

The Sector Commander FRSC Plateau State Sector Command Corps Commander Alphonsus Godwin wishes to inform the general motoring public and motorists plying the roads in Jos and its environs, that the Command will be carrying out a Special Patrol, tagged: Operation Show your driver’s license ” as from Monday 5 July, to Sunday 11 July 2021.

for the sector, the commander says, the possession of a valid driver’s license by motorists remains a major requirement for driving on the road and the absence of it constitutes grave traffic infractions and endangering to the lives of other road users.

It is in this regard, the Command is embarking on the Special patrol operation to clamp down on erring motorists to remove unlawful and quack drivers on our roads.

The categories of drivers on the lookout include drivers with no valid licenses, drivers with expired licenses and drivers driving with temporary expired licenses.

The Command however appeals to motorists and the general public to cooperate with our personnel while the operations last as deviation will be met with the full wrath of the law.
