British Royals prices and the two surviving sons of late princess Diana, Prince William and Prince Harry reunited in the afternoon today to unveil a statue in memory of their late mother Princess Diana on what would have been her 60th birthday.
The brothers were expected to put on a united front even though their relationship is said to be ‘incredibly strained’ after months of bombshell claims by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
However, William and Harry seem to be getting on far better than previously thought as they were seen smiling and chatting to each other at today’s event.
According to the Mirror UK, Paying tribute to their mum, they said:
“Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy.”
With Diana’s siblings watching, the brothers pulled away a cloth covering the monument which will forever remind visitors to her former home of Kensington Palace about its most famous resident.
It comes after Harry and William appeared to grow closer in recent days after reportedly exchanging texts, including celebratory messages after England beat Germany 2-0 in the Euros.
