Wase eulogises Gbajabiamila at 59 Says he’s a true democrat, inspirational leader

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase has congratulated Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila on the occasion of his 59th birthday.

In a congratulatory message by his chief Press Secretary, Umar Mohammed Puma, Wase described Gbajabiamila as an unapologetic democrat and an inspirational leader.

He said the Speaker believes in the unity of the nation and is genuinely committed to the development and sustenance of Nigeria’s democracy and promotion of good governance through effective legislations.

“On behalf of my family, my constituents and indeed all our colleges in the hallow chambers of the House of Representatives, I wish to joyfully felicitate with my brother and a leader, a, great humanist and a patriotic, the Right Honourable Speaker of the House of Representatives, His Excellency, Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila as he clocks 59 years today”.

He said Gbajabimila has demonstrated rare tact, wisdom and quality in the running of the House, which has brought stability and sense of oneness to the entire lawmakers of the green chamber.

“Through the Joint Task mantra, Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila has been able to unite members of the House by giving every one a sense of belonging.

“He has been able to lead by example, carrying everyone along irrespective of political affiliation. Mr. Speaker, working with you has been one of my exciting and finest moment of my political career.

“Not only has Gbajabiamila has also shown great commitment to the independence of the legislature, his love for the growth and sustenance of our democracy through effective legislation is equally not in doubt”, Wase stated.

According to Wase, Nigeria needs leaders such as Gbajabiamila, who are detribalised, selfless and wholly committed to a peaceful and United country.

The Deputy Speaker said he enjoys working with Gbajabiamila and prayed God to grant him many more years on earth in good health and greater love for the fatherland and humanity in general.

“Working with Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila has been an exciting and experience-filled moment of my political career and I will continue to support him to give Nigeria and Nigerians the very best our country deserves”, he stated.

“As you celebrate additional year today, I pray that the Almighty Allah will bless you with many more decades of good health to continue to serve your fatherland to the best of your ability”.
