Police debunk burning of Imo State house of A Assembly Building

The police of Imo state command has debunked report of the State house of assembly building being set on fire.

Reacting to a video which has gone viral of an alleged fire at the state House of Assembly on Sunday night, April 26.

According to Imo police spokesperson Orlando Ikeokwu, the building on fire was not the State House of Assembly nor any building in the area.

Ikeokwu also confirmed that motorists were robbed in Orji area of Owerri, in an attack that left four persons with bullet injuries. Victims of the attack have been taken to the Federal Medical Center, Owerri for treatment.
