A young man was reportedly killed after he tried to prevent his newly bride from being raped when bandit stormed his house on their first night.
According to reports, the incident happened in Gwashi town, Bukkuyum Local Government Area in Zamfara State.
The story was shared on Facebook by a user, Yusuf Anka on Tuesday, March 16, where he posted photos from the funeral of the young groom.
He wrote;
“The remains of a newly wedded Young man being laid to rest in Gwashi, He was killed by bandits while protecting his newly wedded wife from being raped by the Bandits on her first day in her matrimonial home”.
