A husband has taken to Twitter to share the cheerful mail he received from his wife asking for an increase in the family’s monthly upkeep and his response to her.
The man said his wife had approached him for an increase in the house upkeeping allowance and he asked her to write a formal letter.
In the mail, she listed her duties to the family stating all her roles which include a chef, teacher, wife, doctor, caretaker etc.
She added that she has performed her duties to the best of her abilities and needs a raise due to the increased cost of living.
Her husband responded in a mail, promising to discuss with the board and get back to her.
He then copied to the mail the Labour Union, Wives Association of Nigeria, and the Mothers Progressive Union.
