The Police in Imo state has paraded some suspected kidnappers who are terrorising the south-east.
Among the suspects was a community leader His Royal Highness Eze Andrew Okuegbunauwa of Obor autonomous community in Oguta LGA IMO State who usually aide the kidnappers with his Hilux trunk for operations.
luck however run out on them when the police arrested all of them, also amongst them is a pastor who is the gang leader of the group.
Parading the suspects, the police PRO told journalists that 4-Ak47 rifles were recovered, 120 life round ammunitions, and two other rifles which the gang had ambushed some NDLEA personnel who were coming back from an assignment and seized their rifles shooting the officers.
Also, out of the N7.5mln collected from victims, N4.2mln was recovered. They gave N3mln to the Eze who is to use .e money in replacing his Hilux vehicle which they thought was lost.
Also among the suspects is a female gang member.
