News-First Batch of Nigerian Pilgrims departs for Umrah after almost a year of Covid Ban

The first batch of Nigerians departs to Saudi Arabia for Umrah.

Reports from the NAHCON Abuja outreach indicates that 75 Nigerians departed from Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport Abuja to Saudi Arabia for lesser Hajj.

The head of the Abuja outreach Umar M Kalgo who confirmed the departure said a total of 75 pilgrims departed Nigeria to Saudi Arabia today, 50 from Eminista Travels and tours and 25 from Earth travels.
This signifies the opening of Saudi airways for Nigerians after Umrah was banned in February 2020.
