States should be allowed to decide on school resumptions not FG- Sen. Shehu Sani

Former Kaduna state Senator, Shehu Sani has laments on the school resumption which according to him should be a state decision not a federal government decision.

The Senator in a Twitter post pointed out that the 36 States across the federation including the FCT has different infection rates therefore should be allowed to take the decisions.

He wrote;

“Reopening Schools and other #Covid-19 regular measures should be a matter of for the statesand not the FG, the 36 States including the FCT have different infection rates. There’s is evident confusion on how to tackle the second wave”.
