A Federal High court sitting in Abuja has strikes out law suit by the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) against Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed and the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
Recalled that SERAP had approached the court to stop the N5million fine imposed on some broadcast stations in the wake of the #EndSARS crisis weeks ago.
However, ruling on the case, the Court held that SERAP has no locus standing in the case as it is not a part of the matter. The Judge further stated that the case is a mere academic exercise.
