The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon Ahmed Idris Wase, has felicitated with the Emir of Wase and chairman of Jama’atul Nasril Islam (JNI), Plateau State, HRH Alh. Dr. Muhammad Sambo Haruna, on his 10th anniversary on the throne.
Wase in a press statement signed by his chief press secretary Umar Muhammad Puma has joined other well-meaning Nigerians, indigenes of Plateau state, Jama’atul Nasril Islam, Wase Emirate amongst others to celebrate the royal father.
“As a royal father, over the years you have exhibited uncommon leadership in interfacing between the people and the state in promoting the welfare of your subjects and have indeed excelled on these roles,” he said
The Deputy Speaker further stated that the emir’s footprints in the sand of time are everywhere for all to see, adding that the people of Wase and indeed Plateau State are lucky to have such a royal father.
Wase also noted that the emir’s exemplary service and leadership over the years have brought communal harmony and peace to the southern zone and indeed, Plateau state.
Furthermore, Wase prayed to the almighty Allah to grant the emir good health, long life, and wisdom to lead as he continues to impact positively in the lives of the plateau state and Nigerian people as a whole.
