Governor Godwin Obaseki has commissioned the newly built Hajj camp in Edo state today 12th September.
The governor was reportedly joined by the former governor of Kano state Hon. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
The governor wrote on Twitter;
“The former governor of Kano state @Kwankwaso joined me to commission the Edo State Hajj camp in Benin city.”
“@kwankwaso Hailed my administrations sterling performance across all sectors of the state. He also thanked Edo people and Muslims and urged them to come out en masse and cast their votes for the People Democratic Party in the state”.
“On my part, I thank the Muslims for ensuring a peaceful coexistence with the people of other religion in the state, as development witnessed in all the 18 local government areas”.
“Also speaking, the Onojie of Ewu, His roy highness (HRH) Razak Ojiefo III commended me for keeping to my words of building the Hajj camp”.
