The Chairman/CEO of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON, Alhaji Zikhrullah Kunle Hassan has paid a courtesy visit to the governor of Kano state Dr. Abdullah Umar Ganduje at the governors lodge in Asokoro, Abuja.
The chairman during the visit described Kano state as one of the best Pilgrims boards in Nigeria, and therefore assured of the total commitment of the commission in working closely with the state to improve the welfare terms pilgrims during Hajj operations
Responding, governor Ganduje appreciated NAHCON where he said Kano state is home to the Commission, considering that it was one of the nucleus of Hajj, noting that the state was first where a group of people perform Hajj when pilgrims traveled on horses to the Holyland.
