40-foot containers loaded with codeine and tramadol nabbed by police in lagos

The Apapa Area Police Command of Lagos State has intercepted a 40-foot container laden with assorted drugs suspected to be Tramadol and Codeine.

A report on Channels tv revealed that the container was impeded on water and taken to a bonded terminal in Apapa.

A team of officers from Customs and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) joined the Area B Commander, Olasoji Akinbayo, for inspection on Thursday, August 6.

The intercepted compartment is expected to be handed over to relevant authorities for supplementary exploration and prosecution.
