Speaker of Nasarawa State House of assembly calls for peace and religion tolerance as Muslim celebrate Eid-el Kabir




Speaker of the Nasarawa statue house of Assembly, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, has enjoined the Muslim Umah to love, tolerate and pray for peace and security and covid-19,  as well as sustain peace and growth in the country.


The speaker in a statement by his Press Secretary, Jibrin Gwamna felicitates with Muslims on the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir and urged them to extend hands of friendship to non Muslims and the less privileged in the society.

Alhaji Balarabe also called on the people of the state and Nigerians to show love to one another, tolerate each other’s religion and be patriotic citizens for peace and development to thrive.

While describing prayers as key to human existence he called on believers to intensify prayers for God’s intervention to end the challenges of insecurity and the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.

Balarabe Abdullahi enjoined citizens to adhere strictly to COVID-19 protocols to curtail its spread in the society and celebrate peacefully while remaining committed to constituted authorities.


Speaker Balarabe Abdullahi appealed to the people of the state to show understanding with government through prayers and support for more democratic dividends thus re-assured of the state assembly’s commitment to continue to do that which will be in the best interest of the state and its citizens.

He called for prayers and support for leaders at all levels to succeed.
