The kanow state government has reportedly canceled all Eid-el Kabir celebration in the state this year
This was announced by the Kano state commissioner of information Alhahi Mohammed Garba.
The commissioner noted that the decision was reached at the state Executive council meeting SEC on Tuesday.
He further noted that the decision is in line with Kano’s continued fight against COVID-19.
Garba, however, clarified that Eid prayer will be held under strict observance to the covid 19 guideline rules.
He also added that there would be no visit to Shettima House, gathering for Hawan Daushe, Hawan Nassarawa, and other traditional outings in the Emirates.
