Former president Obasanjo visits ex-president Goodluck Jonathan in Otuoke

The former president Olusegun Obasanjo is said to be on a three days working visit to Otuoke the home state of former president Goodluck Jonathan.

Reports indicated that, Obasanjo was invited the state governor Seriake Dickson to commission some projects in the state. His Counterpart ex-president Goodluck Jonathan reportedlymade this known when he posted Obasanjo visit on his Facebook page.

Obasanjo, on Friday, February 16, said that one of the things Nigeria needed to do and do well is the issue of security. The former president stated this during a courtesy visit on the traditional rulers council where he was conferred with automatic Bayelsa state citizenship and chieftaincy title in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state capital. 

Obasanjo also inaugurated the Bayelsa state Drug Distribution Company, the state ultra-modern Diagnostic Centre and other projects and some projects done by Governor Seriake Dickson. He expressed shock over the rapid transformation which Dickson had brought to Bayelsa state within six years and commended him for the relative peace he had maintained in the state since his six year administration, urging other states in the country to emulate him in that regard.
