Muslim Media Practitioners of Plateau State (MMPP) Mourns Baba Ahmad, a veteran journalist

The Muslim media practitioners of plateau state mourns the death of a veteran journalist Alhaji Mahmoon Baba-Ahmad who passed away on Thursday night after a protracted illness. Discribing his demise as a monumental loss.

The Association in a statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Buhari Bukar Bello and Secretary, Muhammad Tanko Shitu said the the journalism profession has lost a great scholar, an educator, a columnist and a literature of letters. Baba Ahmad has also been discribed as a fearless professional, a nationalist, a great patriot as well as an honest personality who has always trended on the part of almighty Allah. .
He was a quintessential journalist, a fair, objective media guru whose lives of practice had not only stood for the upholds of the ethics, but had also mentored and brought lots of us into limelight of the profession of journalism,” itgeria (MMPN) has said the demise of a season broadcaster,  Alhaji Mahmoon Baba-Ahmad who passed on Thursday after a protracted illness as a monumental loss.
“He was a quintessential journalist, a fair, objective media guru whose lives of practice had not only stood for the upholds of the ethics, but had also mentored and brought lots of us into limelight of the profession of journalism,” it added.
“The entire Muslim practitioners here in Plateau State, heartily and sadly commiserate with the Government and people of Kaduna State over this great loss. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
