The Ifitedunu Community in Dunokofia local government Area of Anambra state has promised support for president Mohammadu Buhari as a second term bid come 2019.
According to the community, it will do everything possible to see that the president got re-elected again in 2019 including the purchase of reelection form for him.
The community made the pledge through its traditional ruler and president general, Igwe Emeka Ilounoh and Samuel Nweke, respectively in separate speeches when the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Chris Ngige performed the groundbreaking for the construction of the Federal Specialist Skills Acquisition centre in the area.
According to the leaders, the choice of Buhari was informed by the commitment demonstrated by Dr. Ngige in the community right from his reign as the governor of the state from 2003 and 2006. They said the President had done so well that he deserved a second term to complete his good works, just as they commended the federal government for remembering the town in the distribution of its infrastructure.
The minister thanked the community for the confidence reposed in the Buhari’s administration, urging them to vote en masse for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the general elections.
