The Federal Government has declared Friday as a public holiday this is to mark the celebration of Eid-El-Maulud. Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau made the declaration on Wednesday in a statement by the Permanent Secretary Abubakar Magaji in the ministry.
Dambazau urged Muslims and Nigerian at large to pray for the country’speace and unity of the nation.
“The minister wishes Nigerians a happy Eid-El-Maulud celebration,” the statement said.
