Legendary musician Fela Anikolapo kuti has been honoured posthumously as the Lagos State governor Akinwunmi Ambode unveiled a statue of the music ikon.
Fela, would have been 79 years old had he were to be alive on Sunday October 15, but that not withstanding the lagos State governor, liberated a Statue of the Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo Kuti at Allen Avenue Roundabout, Ikeja.
Ambode later proceeded to wittness a command live performance by Femi Kuti at the New Afrika Shrine, Ikeja as the 2017 Felabration wrapped up, he was in company of his entourage to the Felabration.
