The Plateau state police command have on Wednesday, October 11, confirmed the death of a former secretary to the state government Moses Gwom. Gunmen had allegedly stormed the residence of the former SSG where he was killed around 9pm on Tuesday the 10th October.
The gunmen were said to have also attacked a security checked point which is near the residence of the late former SSG. Reports indicates that 12 other persons were also injured, cnfirming the incidence, spokesperson for the command said:
“Unknown gunmen attacked and killed one Moses Gwom, at his residence in Dorowa Babuje village of Barkin ladi local government Area. His house is located opposite STF checkpoint, 12 others were injured during the attack.”
The police spokesperson said that no arrest has been made yet but said the suspects are being trail by security operatives.
