A Barcelona defender Gérard Pique is reported calling his 6 year old relationship with singer Shakira. Although the actual reason for the split has not been disclosed, but Cotilleo, a Spanish website has said it is Shakira who want an out of the relationship.
“It’s something serious and she has been the one who has finally made the decision,” a source told the website.
The report quoted another source who said the pop star ‘could no longer cope with the situation.’
There have also been speculations over the couple’s relationship in the Colombian press. Shakira is from Colombia.
Shakira 40 and Pique 30, were allegedlly last seen publicly together in June at the wedding of Barcelona star Lionel Messi to his long-time partner Antonella Roccuzzo.
The relationship has reportedly produce 2 children, four-year-old Milan and two-year-old Sasha.
