500 housing unit tag Mohammadu Buhari estate inaugurated by IGP in Lagos. .

The Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Idris has inaugurated a 500-unit housing estate in Badagry, Lagos. The housing estate, built in partnership with Remax Realtors, was inaugurated on Thursday and was also named after President Muhammadult Buhari.
The IGP, who spoke at the event, said the estate was built to reduce the accommodation deficit experienced by men and women of the Nigerian Police, adding that the project is part of the initiative of this regime to improve the welfare of the force across the country.
According to him, “the welfare of personnel of the Nigerian Police Force,  especially the rank and file, is uppermost in my agenda for a more functional, proactive and result oriented police force. Consequently, I enjoin you to be at your best, applying best practices in our dealingswith the civil populace with total loyalty to our dear nation.”

“I have assured police personnel of my determination to accelerate all issues that advance their welfare and our families such as promotions, prompt payment of entitlement,  salaries and provision of affordable housing unit among others”. He further stressed that similar housing estates will soon be inaugurated in Katsina, Zamfara, and Niger states.
