KANO STATE GETS FIRST FEMALE CLERK IN PERSON OF AISHA MOHAMMED.
Mrs Aisha Mohammed has been appointed by the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) as the Deputy Clerk to the House of Representatives on Administration, the first female from the North to occupy that position ever. Born on April 24, 1959, and an indigene of Dala LGA of Kano state, Mrs Mohammed was until her appointment, a director in the National Assembly. A graduate of Bayero University, Kano between 1979 and 1982, and a Bschool holder in political science had began a career with Kano state government in 1983 where she later transfer her services to the National Assembly.
