NASARAWA STATE GOVERNOR ALMA KURA SAYS HE ONLY OWE ONE MONTH SALARY.

The Nasarawa State Governor, Umaru  Tanko Al-Makura, said that his administration is owing the state’s civil servants only one month’s salary. Speaking while declaring open a five-day workshop for senior workers, Al-makura explained that his government owing six months’ salary was false, urging that the information were aimed at tarnishing the image of his administration. 
The governor said, “My government does not owe civil servants now. But I know I owe them only one month’s salary, which will be paid very soon.”
The governor also added that the decision of the government to engage the service of Industrial Training Fund was in line with the focus of his administration’s policy since inception in 2011. And that his administration has effected over 9,000 workers promotion with full salaries and other entitlement, and promised that another 2,000 civil servants will be added to the workforce.
