PHOTOS- GOVERNOR LALONG HOLDS PEACE MEETING IN JOS TODAY.

The Plateau State governor,  Barr Simon Bako Lalong has held a peace mating with the leaders of Igbo residing in the states and the Hausa/Fulani community today after the unrest that occured yesterday.

According to the governor, he regretted the death of two persons in the unfortunate incidence, saying that the sad event of yesterday took him by surprise and frowned at the role the social media played to fuel the situation.

Lalong who also had the interior minister General Abdulrahman Dambazau in the meeting said, he was compelled to impose curfew and will take even stiffer security measures if he doesn’t get the desired result and cooperation from the community leaders. More photos below
