RESIDENCE OF EKITI, PORTHACOURT AND OTHERS MAY EXPERIENCE FLOOD THIS WEEK..

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency, has predicted localised thunderstorms over the Central States of Kwara, Niger, Abuja, Nassarawa, Jos and Kaduna on Wednesday morning.
It added that the central states would experience isolated thunderstorms later in the day with day and Night temperatures in the range of 24 to 31 and 11 to 24 degrees Celsius respectively.
The agency predicted that Southern States would experience cloudy with chances of isolated rains over Obudu, Ogoja, Ikom, Abakaliki, Enugu, Eket, Calabar and port Harcourt in the morning which may lead to fload.

“Cloudiness is expected over Sokoto in the morning with day and Night temperatures in the range of 31 to 35 and 22 to 25 degrees Celsius respectively.

“There are high prospects of severe thunderstorms over the northeast while localised thunderstorms are anticipated over the northwest and central states.
“The southern areas are expected to experience light to moderate rainfall activities in the next 24 hours,” NiMet predicted.
