KOGI STATE FEMALE PILGRIM DIES IN MAKKA SAUDI ARABIA.

A female pilgrim from Igala-mela local government area of Kogi state, Hajiya Asmau Iyawo Abdullahi has been reported dead by the state authority in makkah. She was said to have died of an illness while performing this year’s hajj in Mecca.
The state chairman of hajj commission,  Shiekh Lukman Abdullahi Imam,  announced that she passed away Tuesday morning.


She died after all attempts by our medical team to treat her failed; she was an elderly person and her health deteriorated immediately she arrived the holy land. May Allah forgive her of all her wrongdoings; she  has since been buried in the city of Makkah.
“Apart from this pilgrim that died, all our pilgrims are in good health. We give thanks to Allah for keeping all our pilgrims in good health,” he said.
