The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has empowered 2,127 young Nigerians in Plateau State through the Renewed Hope Youth Empowerment Programme by distributing a wide range of income-generating equipment and substantial cash grants.
Equipment Distributed to 727 Beneficiaries
A total of 727 sets of productive equipment and toolkits were handed over to beneficiaries.

110 POS machines with ?100,000 cash each
20 Make-Up Tool Boxes
71 Phone Repair Tool Boxes, Solar Panels and Cloud Power Stations
Cash Grant Distribution to 1,400 Beneficiaries
In addition, ?280 million in cash grants was disbursed in four categories:
Group One: ?1 million each to 60 persons (Total: ?60 million)
Group Two: ?500,000 each to 140 persons (Total: ?70 million)
Group Three: ?200,000 each to 300 persons (Total: ?60 million)
Group Four: ?100,000 each to 900 persons (Total: ?90 million)
This comprehensive empowerment package equips young Nigerians with the necessary tools and capital to start or grow businesses in sectors such as transportation, tailoring, catering, mechanics, welding, beauty services, phone repairs, and digital operations.
Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda described the programme as a clear demonstration of the Renewed Hope Agenda’s focus on youth development, job creation, and poverty alleviation. The initiative has received strong commendation for its direct impact and support for grassroots entrepreneurship across Nigeria.
