?His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, hosted the Honourable Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd), OFR, for a strategic engagement at the Presidential Residence in Lagos.

The high-level meeting focused on reviewing the national defence framework, evaluating ongoing counter-insurgency and anti-banditry operations, and enhancing inter-agency coordination to bolster countrywide security.

?During the visit, General Musa presented a comprehensive briefing covering current operational logistics, frontline developments, and proposed reforms designed to boost troop morale, modernise hardware, and upgrade military infrastructure.

In response, President Tinubu commended the steady progress achieved in securing vulnerable communities and reiterated his administration’s firm commitment to equipping and empowering the Ministry of Defence.

Expressing gratitude for the Commander-in-Chief's continuous guidance, the Defence Minister reassured the public that the ministry remains steadfast in executing its mandate to maintain national peace and stability.
