Friends, family members, political associates, governors, traditional and religious leaders, and other well-wishers gathered in Abuja on Monday to mark the one-year remembrance of former President Muhammadu Buhari. 

Former First Lady Aisha Buhari and former Head of State Gen. Yakubu Gowon (retd.) were among the prominent attendees who paid tribute to the late leader, as the event highlighted Buhari's lasting impact on Nigeria's political landscape and the respect he earned across the nation.
