The Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) has reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, fairness, accountability, and stakeholder collaboration in Nigeria's revenue administration system.
Speaking during a courtesy visit by the Joint Revenue Board (JRB), led by its Executive Secretary, Olusegun Adesokan, RMAFC Chairman Dr. Mohammed Bello Shehu emphasized the need for cooperation among revenue institutions to ensure the success of ongoing tax and revenue reforms.
Dr. Shehu said the Commission would continue supporting initiatives that enhance revenue generation, equitable allocation, and taxpayer protection.
He also acknowledged concerns over electronic transfer taxes, refunds, and revenue allocation, stressing the importance of continued dialogue and technical engagement.

Adesokan noted that the visit was aimed at strengthening collaboration between the JRB and RMAFC to ensure the successful implementation of the new tax framework.
He said the reforms are designed to promote fairness, transparency, and fiscal stability while addressing stakeholder concerns through consultations and technical discussions.
Both organizations reaffirmed their commitment to deepening cooperation, improving revenue administration, protecting taxpayers, and ensuring the effective implementation of reforms aimed at strengthening Nigeria's fiscal system and driving national development.
