?The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) and DMG Events have reaffirmed their long-standing partnership with the Bayelsa State Government to ensure the successful hosting of the 15th Practical Nigerian Content (PNC) Forum, scheduled for November 30 to December 3, 2026, at the NCDMB Conference Centre in Yenagoa.
During a strategic visit to Deputy Governor Dr. Peter Pereotubo Akpe at the Government House in Yenagoa on Tuesday, representatives from NCDMB and DMG Events expressed appreciation for the state’s 15-year support and outlined new features for the upcoming conference.
Led by NCDMB General Manager of Corporate Communications Dr. Obinna Ezeobi and DMG Representative Ms. Olamide Oloko, the delegation presented fresh initiatives for the 2026 edition, including a Local Content Roundtable, a dedicated two-day program for Local Community Contractors, targeted breakout sessions to chart the next decade of local content, and an executive Townhall Session featuring heads of NCDMB, NNPC Ltd, NUPRC, OPTS, and PETAN.

?In response, Bayelsa State Deputy Governor Dr. Peter Pereotubo Akpe guaranteed full state backing, pledging maximum security for all delegates, confirming the state's sponsorship of the official welcome gala dinner, and committing to active participation in both the main conference and the Youth PNC segment.
He praised the NCDMB for absorbing participants from the 2025 Youth PNC into its capacity-building programs while calling for greater attendance from top oil and gas executives at the opening dinner.
As Nigeria's flagship local content event, the annual PNC Forum serves as a critical platform for evaluating local content implementation, driving regional capacity, and expanding local participation across the nation's energy sector.
