Troops of Operation WHIRL STROKE, working alongside the Benue State Civil Protection Guard, neutralised two suspected terrorists identified as Dantaraba and Golozo during a swift response to a distress call at Tor Donga Yam Market in Benue State on June 28, 2026. The security team recovered an AK-47 rifle, ammunition, a damaged pistol, ATM cards, and other items. 

The operation secured the market, allowing trading activities to continue without disruption. 

Force Commander Major General Moses Gara praised the troops' professionalism and urged residents to continue providing timely intelligence to support security efforts.
